Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. Obviously I haven’t been clear enough in my original letter so I will try again.
Unfortunately you appear to have not been entirely thorough and objective in your investigation. I am not particularly interested in hearsay by any Pertemps employees. I have a large source of it at Church Street every day, but on the whole I choose not to refer to it as the danger is that it can, at least on occasion, lack substance. What I would like to know is this.
Are Pertemps running the New Deal programme in
If the answer is “no”, please explain what you are going to do about it and what the consequences are for Pertemps for not complying with the contract and provider guidelines. Are they sanctioned in a similar way that I and all Jobseekers or New Deal participants are if we do not comply? If they are, please outline the specific details of this and whether those sanctions have been carried out. If they aren’t subject to anything like this, please give me an explanation why I am subject to threat and sanction from Jobcentreplus, but Pertemps or any other provider of New Deal is not.
